Aww, looks like it was a sweet and simple wedding. Minimal hooplah. That's how I want mine to be someday... none of this bridezilla stuff that people put themselves through. Congratulations to your brother and his wife! :-)
Looks lovely. You have that mariachi band/serenading look about you. It's not easy to look that calm in front of a group of people. well done.
Congrats!
bought my ticket for the sunday show today...wait, were we supposed to go on saturday?... oh yes, nevermind, the saturday show at the operahouse. I'm looking forward to it!
man, your ass looks huge in the picture.
Yes, Saturday, kidder. I got mine, but don't have the train ticket yet. I doubt the train will sell out.
What you take for my "ass" is actually my jacket, which is being held behind me by the maid of honor. We did this funny thing where I was introduced and then the MoH came over, slid my jacket off, handed me my guitar, and then draped my jacket over her arm behind me while I played. Knowing Coby, she probably made some good funny faces behind me, too.
And yeah, SJ, I'm not sure how I was that calm. They were expecting around 180, which I think broke my personal record for singing audiences by about 175. It's not that tough of a song, tho, so that helped.
I'm ready to start singing Louvins Brothers duets with Wes now, I think. Tell him to set up a time
Somebody tell me that this was taped. I would pay big monie$ to see the infamous Scotty Hill cover of "True Love Will Find You In The End".
Oh, there is video. It looked like a pretty old camera, so I don't know if it can be uploaded easily, though. I'm reluctant to see it; I'm sure it is a better performance in my memory than it was in reality.
If you're going to Pitchfork, what days will you be there?
Congrats to everyone! But are they going to live out your dream by moving into a tiny house? or will they take this slightly different route:

What days? Ha, don't make me laugh. You KNOW I'll be there all three days, dear sir. Are you going to be kickin' it old skool with me and the GZA this year?
Mr. Throw and I will be there for Saturday only this year. Friday sold out on us. See you there. I'll be the one the crowd is passing around over their heads with my arms spread out like a Christ figure.
Hey there,
I just finished Icelander by Dustin Long - I think that you would totally dig it. From McSwny's, of course.
