TAL Trailer

This is the true ache of not having cable. The trailer for the new This American Life teevee show is online now and it looks so good. The feel of it reminds me something of the old Errol Morris movie Fast, Cheap, and Out of Control. [link]

I got the whole trailer for donating to Chicago Public Radio and I have to say that K and I were a little underwhelmed. I had high, high hopes but I don't really feel that the video adds anything new to the stories. In fact, it may take something away from the experience... Errol Morris is one of a kind though, we've been going through his short-lived series "First Person" and it's amazing what he can accomplish and the feelings he can evoke from an "interview".

Aw, underwhelmed? I suppose you could turn on the tv and listen with your eyes closed, but I bet you peek.

And do you mean a trailer other than the one that this post links to, or are you just saying that you have it on DVD? Send it on if you can be bothered to put stamps on it.

I didn't think to look for First Person at Netflix--I wonder if they have that.

I guess I meant trailer as in a "whole episode sneak peek". I'm going to show it to my class then I'll send it along.
