Way, Jose

Man, this Jose Gonzalez record "In Our Nature" is really good. I had no idea. Anyone know if his first album is anything like it? AMG seems to prefer it, even.

After I read this I went on a downloading frenzy and checked him out. He's pretty good. Props for that.

Yeah, I can't stop spinning this one. It's pure Nick Drake. I can't think of many people who pull that off so convincingly.

Hey, this guy's not too bad.
I think I prefer Ola though - I really got into that one.

And Nick Drake has always put me to sleep. Sorry.

As an aside, Big Ten Network won't appear on Fios until next year. So I'm officially jealous.

Oh yes, teardrop, and then Abram right after that too. And Fold.

Man, I'm going through my fourth rediscovery of Strawberry Jam now, too. Playing #1 a lot.

It might be on her next record, which is going to be another bunch of covers. It's Cat Stevens "How Can I Tell You." I really love her last covers album, so I'm looking forward to this one.

His cover of "Heartbeats" is hot stuff, but I still prefer the Scala & Kolacny Brothers take on the tune.

But I do love me some Jose here and there.
