Finally, a nice movie for 2007

It had been a slow year for movies this year, but Quinceanera finally made its way through our Netflix queue this weekend. It's just so good. I feel like I want to put the dvd back in the player and press play in the hope that the story will pick up with the characters where it left off. But they're not real. It's hard to convince myself of that.

Thanks for the good word on this one ... Our Film guild down here is showing this one in a few weeks on the big screen, so I'll definitely have to check it out

I'll check it out if possible...

I still need to watch Primer all the way through...

Oh, go see it. It would be fun to see out in public, I think, just so you can look around when it's over and say to people "wasn't that great?"

You haven't finished Primer yet? That's funny. Maybe you only need to see half of it anyway, because it just kind of turns back in on itself.

Didn't I borrow it from you in the first place? I think I gave it back because I had been borrowing it from you for quite a long while and I didn't want to keep it from you any longer. Actually, that sounds like a silly reason considering you had my copy of American History X for...awhile.

By the way, you should seriously consider coming out to Saint Francis for the annual student art show. Free food, mingling, and a lot of great (and bad) artwork.

It's this Saturday, by the way.

I completely neglected to note that you had seen this through receiving it from Netflix. I just added it to my own queue...

OMG. That's insane. I wonder if she'll be able to get McCarthy on the show? He's only given one newspaper interview in his life, I think.

I've got to go to the McCarthy forum to watch the meltdown.
