Kids these days

I dunno. In my day, kids didn't eat dirt. We just didn't. It's a different world these days, and I blame the Internet.

This shot is from playing with the kids outside today after getting home from a childless weekend in Chicago. More about that later.

Perhaps your son is still in his orals ensory stage of development. This is where he tests random textures on his tongue to feel the way it is and experience life.

Well, when I was his age and I wanted to experience life, I read books and watched PBS shows like NOVA and Masterpiece Theater. I didn't eat dirt.

Times have changed, I guess.

Reminds me of when my kids got into a Jersey Mike's sub when they were toddlers. Good times, good times...

Mr. Hill, maybe you should clarify to your children that being environmentally conscious doesn't necessarily mean that you have to eat dirt.

He eats dirt because it tastes good, of course, now if he was licking water from the toilet then I might get a little worried
