This stat line is a little better than it was last week:
Number of times I had a thought but did not blurt it out like a big blow-hard: 3
However, this stat hurt me tonight:
Number of times I blurted something out like a big blow-hard but didn't have any thought to go with it: 2
That's kind of like my class discussion assist/turnover ratio. Still needs some work.

Gosh, I feel like I've made you paranoid. I'd like for you to start speaking up in class more, Scott. You really shouldn't care what others think. I can't count the number of times I've told you this.
I should have included the stat for "exchange in which I didn't let anyone else say anything and was basically talking to myself": 48
I meant to talk less, I really did--especially because one of my friends was getting critiqued last night--but I just couldn't.
